Lead Performance Manager, Google Ads Guru
We need a Google ad platform expert with agency experience... the one who sees what is coming before anyone else does and knows how to drive revenue to our clients!
Not good. Not great. Elite.
This is NOT a Media Buyer role... we need someone who lives in the platform and can go far above and beyond what even our best Growth Managers/Media Buyers can do.
Okay so here's the deal: TNT Growth is on a mission, and we need someone who is genuinely elite at paid media to come help our team and clients succeed.
We're talking the person who opens an account and already knows what's wrong before they click into a single campaign. The one who's been doing this long enough to have real opinions — about creative, about bidding, about why that landing page is killing the conversion rate even though nobody asked.
Here's what makes this role kind of incredible:
You're not running campaigns. You're setting the standard for the whole team. You're the one catching problems before they become client fires, coaching other Growth Managers to be better at their craft, and driving real revenue results across a portfolio of clients who are counting on us to deliver.
And the growth potential here? Real. We're building something special and the right person in this seat has a genuine path upward as we scale.
You're our person if:
🔥 Google Ads (and hopefully Meta too) are basically a second language for you — you've scaled big budgets, rescued dying accounts, and you could talk bid strategy for an embarrassingly long time.
🤝 You've led other marketers and truly enjoy it — you know how to coach, how to give feedback that sticks, and how to tell the difference between someone who can't and someone who won't.
📈 You're hungry to grow and ready to earn it — title, comp, seat at the table — it's all on the table for the right person.
A few more details:
- Client management and relationship building should be a strong point... You will work closely with TNT executives and high-level stakeholders in client organizations with a strong focus on retention and strategy.
- Account health and reporting for your "book" are your top priorities.
- You are proactive and jump in with real, innovative solutions before an account goes red.
- Triaging emergencies is your jam!
What You'll Do:
- Own the Cross-Pod Performance Standard - You set and maintain the performance benchmark for every active account across all three Growth pods. Every account has a green, yellow, or red status. You know what each one is, why it is, and what is being done about it. The standard doesn't move because one pod had a tough week — you hold it.
- Run the Weekly Account-Health Review - You lead the weekly cadence that surfaces the health of the full client book. You own early-warning identification — catching yellow accounts before they go red, and catching red accounts before they become churn. You present a clear, evidence-based picture of account health to the Head of Growth each week.
- Lead Red-Account Rescues - When an account is in crisis, you lead the rescue. You have authority to pull resources across pods — analysts, creatives, strategists — with the Head of Growth as tiebreak if needed. You own the save plan, the timeline, and the outcome.
- Coach Pod Leads on Performance Craft - You have a dotted-line coaching relationship with the three Pod Leads. You are not their manager — but you are the person who holds the performance standard they're accountable to, and you work with them directly to close gaps, sharpen strategy, and build their capability. Your coaching is specific, grounded in account data, and focused on craft.
- Partner with the Head of Growth on Capacity and Expansion - You are a thought partner to the Head of Growth on where the team is stretched, where accounts have room to grow, and where staffing-to-performance decisions need to be made. You bring data and pattern recognition; you help inform the decisions that shape the Growth team's capacity and client mix.
- Own the AI-assisted account-health layer - Identify where AI can expand review coverage, detect anomalies, accelerate diagnosis, and standardize follow-through across the client book. Pilot workflows in shadow mode, validate them against expert judgment, and scale them only when they improve decision quality. Human account owners retain approval over consequential campaign, budget, and client decisions.
Compensation and Position Details:
- Fully Remote
- $130K–$180K base + commission on accounts you own
- Benefits and flexible PTO
- Reports to the Head of Growth
